I use professional flight planning software such as SimBrief, SkyVector and PFPX I have the habit of calculating my airplane's performance before departure/arrival I fly mostly study level aircrafts I own hardware specific for flight simming I use simple flight planning software such as routefinder or littlenavmap I don't worry about performance as long as the plane is flyable and within limits I am a casual simmer that doesn't look for system depth as requirement I use mouse and keyboard or a video game controller for flight sim
